Testimonials
I have been fortunate enough to develop a very reputable client base, establishing professional yet friendly long-term relationships. Here’s what some of my clients have to say about working with me…
Cal is a highly creative photographer with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with on a couple of occasions now. Photographing heavy industry and making it all look sharp and modern is notoriously difficult, yet Cal has managed to achieve this with the work he has done for us at Wilton. We told him broadly the shots which we wanted but it was Cal who was able to find the artistic angle which gave us something different to present. When photographing people he makes them feel at ease and he manages to create unique images which we’ve been able to use widely on our website and on published promotional material. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cal as a true professional in his field.
Jane Goult, Commercial Marketing Manager, Sembcorp
Cal has carried out many assignments for Cleveland Technologies Group. We know what we want to shoot but often not how best to present the product. This is where Cal comes in to his own – he can follow direction but also he can make sound judgements about how to give the shot the individuality which sets it apart from other similar images and therefore give it added impact. His photography has featured in many of our press releases, advertisements and product catalogues and I would not hesitate to recommend his services to others.
Andrew H Gleghorn, Managing Director, Cleveland Technologies Group
Cal is one of the most talented and versatile photographers I’ve had the opportunity to work with. He has a real knack of being able to put his subjects at ease, which is really important in a lot of the work we do with him. He’s equally at home shooting for campaign work or press and when you need little bit of extra creative spark, Cal is your man to bring it out.
Peter Whelan, Director, DTW
I have worked with Cal for approximately four years now, on various projects ranging from studio work to set building for a national bathroom and plumbing merchants. Many of the assignments have been very demanding in terms of technical approach and extremely tight schedules. We have built up a very close relationship consisting of the vital elements of professionalism, dedication and a large dollop of humour!
Dave Marshall, Partner, House of Type
Working with Cal was a pleasure. He took a notoriously difficult material to photograph and made it look spectacular. The pictures he has taken are going down a storm not only in the UK and Europe, but across North America too.
Andy Foster, Head of Marketing, The Expanded Metal Company
Cal Carey, what can I say! He is a truly unbelievable photographer that can work and capture any image required by the client. Cathal seems to have the ability to adapt to any situation whether it is out in the field, or in a studio taking product images. I have worked with Cathal for over three years now and can honestly say that if you are looking for a professional photographer, give this guy a chance – I know he will exceed your expectations.
